The area is just so amazing considering how close it is to University City, I remember every summer Malcolm X's daughter would come and talk about her father's legacy she was such a beautiful woman. To me Malcolm X will always be one of my favorite parks, sometimes I just go back on my past and think about how much I miss that area.”

“The staff was very kind to my father during his last few months there. The facility was under construction while he was there and the changes looked promising. The activities department did their very best to get my father engaged. The cook was very helpful with any request made. The nurses were kind and friendly. The financial office was understanding and knowledgeable. Each department took the time and care to support us overall. Although it was a very trying time I felt comfortable that our needs were met.”

“Stopped in here to get a button sewn back on. The woman at the counter was very nice and helpful and even repaired the button while I waited. I did ask for the shirt to be cleaned as well and I was told that it could be ready for Thursday (and this was on a Friday) so I'm not sure how quick they're dry cleaning normally is if you are in a rush. The laundromat looked clean, well lit, and we'll laid out but I haven't used it yet. I would recommend trying this place!”
