“Great workspace. They're constantly improving it, but it feels like a museum. Much more peaceful than the tech center or other places to study.”

“Very friendly staff, that helps you with any questions you may have about the library. There is a homework help group, students helping other students, any grade level can get the help they need with their homework. The homework help group usually starts after school, till early evenings. I have been going to Katherine Drexel Library since I was a little girl and now I take my nieces with me.”

“Very nice branch, went in the other day and they were playing soft jazz. My little one loves the open space in the children’s section and playing with all the toys there. Great selection of board books and the air conditioning is nice in the summer. They also have fancy new self checkout machines.”

“Her you can- Enjoy the library, utilize the meeting rooms, study, learn, get work done, get help, and keep cool during the summer, as it's also a city's "Cooling Center ", solo or with the whole family. Located in Logan, I must admit, I'm beyond impressed with the new and improved renovations! Open space, clean lounge areas with PLENTY of outlets to keep your devices charged, self check out kiosks, friendly staff, media equipped meeting rooms, computer center and the even had a posh little video gaming section for the kids! Nice! Overall ratings- 4 stars! Would be 5 stars if the bathroom wasn't such a disaster! Work on keeping that bathroom clean, with easy access to toilet paper and liquid soap and it'll be 5 star.”

“An Historic Event that ushered in Every New Year in Philadelphia. The Museum is full of Treasures. Mummers are a Brotherhood/Sisterhood. They devote a large amount of time and effort to this One Day. Sadly I Believe the Parade lost some of its Glitter when it changed its Starting point from South of Oregon ave. In South Philly. Still these People should be Honored for their Devotion and Participation. A Unique Event.Pure Philly!”

“Very friendly staff and fun family friendly events. Building is rundown (particularly the bathrooms) but still worth the trip because of what's going on there. We drive 25 minutes to go here instead of libraries closer to us.”

“The staff of this library branch are some of the most helpful and accommodating of any library branch I've visited in my decades of living in Philadelphia. I am new to the South Philly and these were some of the first people I met. The branch may need some work, but the staff knows the children and adults that frequent the place and are always ready to assist. Whether it's with literary recommendations or computer sign-ins; these people are there to serve. I like them for that!”

“Always quiet, librarian helpful.”

“The staff is very knowledgeable, but the resources available are fabulous. The psychology section is the biggest university collection I've used so far in my college experience, and of course there's plenty of resources online. There's generally enough computers for quick printing, but if you're hunkering down for an assignment, bring your laptop. Desk area for the computer area is limited so you can't spread out your articles or anything. The quiet floor (3rd) is actually quiet too!”

“The children's librarian has always been wonderful. She is helpful in finding books by topic and style and is incredibly knowledgeable in children's titles. She puts together very cute crafts and is so passionate about her work! My son loves her, and I love her! The other library staff has also always been helpful and friendly. We love this library!”

“This museum is just a short walk away from the Sports Complex and is housed in FDR Park, an expansive city park outfitted with a lake and all. The building is beautiful inside and out. The museum is divided into several themed rooms that each showcase an achievement of Swedish Americans. I especially liked the Golden Map room and the New Sweden gallery. There are also rooms dedicated to noteworthy Swedes that influenced aspects of American life. The museum is less about Sweden and more about Swedes in America. It is clean, the architecture is beautiful, and it’s surprisingly modern! Check it out of you have a few hours to spare! It’s small in a way, but it still took me over two and a half hours. But then again, I wasn’t in a rush.”
