“Our camping experience at Sylvania Tree Farm was absolutely superb. The campsite felt secluded, even though there were occupied sites nearby (far enough away that we couldn't hear the other groups and they were visually naturally blocked by trees). A huge perk of the site was the clean, well stocked bath house nearby-- not only were there toilets, they weren't the gross kind you'd find at a state park. It was extremely convenient to be able to buy firewood and ice from John and Jane and for our trash bags to be collected. The site was right on the river-- I even caught a fish right off shore! There was even a great hiking path to a cool overlook on the property. I'd highly recommend coming here to camp!”

“We found this Visitors Center by accident and what a find it is. A beautiful facility, air conditioned, clean rest rooms and a lot of information about the area. They are people to help you who know the area very well. In back of the Center is a beach on the lake with many picnic tables spread about. Bring a beach blanket, beach umbrella and a picnic basket. The lake is beautiful, very big and many site seeing boats. It's a great way to spend the day.”

“Rented this place last minute for a inprontu bachelor party. It was a fun. Brief walk to the lake docks and a little clearing made for a great fishing spot. Also as far as value it’s excellent. The place is small but worth every penny since you are close to the water. I recommend a weekend stay. Downside is the tv is old and a knockoff brand from 1991. Barely worked.”

“We went here for a day trip for my daughters ninth birthday, she loves horseback riding and archery. Our guide was amazing!!!!! He taught us so many fun facts about horses and sincerely seems to love his job and it made the difference. The food was excellent and the staff was perfect, we felt at home here. “Must visit!! Well worth it with a beautiful mountain view. Cozy, clean, well maintained and well equipped. Owner was very accommodating, responded immediately with any questions and even had toys for the pups when we arrived. Cabin is spacious and includes extra blankets for those chilly nights. Loved the pot belly stove, which kept the entire house toasty. Kitchen was well equipped with all necessary cooking supplies, even had a doughnut maker! Not far from all activities about a 30 minute drive to Camelback and similar resorts. I would definitely reccomend renting here for your next getaway!”

“Great time. Nicole checked us in and was fabulous. Very detailed. Coming back Eddie helped bring the boat back in and gassed up the boat. He was quick, and didn’t waste time. We had an amazing day. We rented the boat for the day and brought our own tube. They even filled it up and lent us the tow rope for no extra charge. We’ll be back again soon!”

“Eileen was wonderful she was extremely kind and informative. She is a blessing and cares for the horses so much. This was my daughters first time riding she is 6 she rode alone on her horse with Eileen right up front. Eileen was wonderful with her and as a result my daughter did an amazing job! She rode the horse like a champ. All around there were tons of smiles. The cats on the farm are friendly and a highlight as well. The path is a nice stroll through the woods. I would recommend bringing cash and making sure you potty before you get there. The place is not well marked so follow the directions well.”
