“We went here for a day trip for my daughters ninth birthday, she loves horseback riding and archery. Our guide was amazing!!!!! He taught us so many fun facts about horses and sincerely seems to love his job and it made the difference. The food was excellent and the staff was perfect, we felt at home here. “I began as a volunteer when I was just 14 years old and am now a PATH certified Instructor and Volunteer Coordinator at GAIT TRC. From the start, the horses and volunteers at GAIT have been like family to me- sharing laughter and tears through triumphs and hardships. As a teenager, all I wanted was a place to feel like I belonged, and GAIT provided that for me. I had no idea at the time how far that experience would bring me, or how much it would shape my life and career choices as an adult. Having come full circle and returning to GAIT as Volunteer Coordinator, it makes me happy to see that sense of family and belonging are still available to riders and volunteers alike. My hope for the new generations of volunteers is that they too find what I have found here, so many years ago. “It's was good, everything seemed very fresh. Clean. Prompt, friendly service. Food came out quickly. We got the #1 family platter and it fed four with leftovers. Good large portions of everything. Would go again if we were ever in the area again. Easy stop just a bit off the highway and a large enough parking lot to back around our camper. No wait on Sunday afternoon and you can choose to sit inside or outside.”
