Loved visiting this location. The trails are all labeled well to help keep you on track, especially for those of us who don't hike too often.
Great place for a family hike (with pups) trail is well marked.
Very nice walk through the woods. Well marked and easy to follow trail.
My wife and I attended a family wedding here and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The lake is beautiful and the accommodations were great.
This is Sacred Ground for me. I used to live a few miles away in a development with a designated green belt that backed up to the Lacawac, and whenever my mind needed peace, I would hike up through the South side of the hill and find serenity every way I looked.
Having moved away, I'm more keenly aware of how well the place is run, with events and curricula, education, and conservationists in residence.
If you ever see an owl hike listed in the Events - They fill up quick, so register sooner rather than later. Unless I haven't signed up yet, in which case, hold off please...
