The new playground is wonderful! Fun for all ages, honestly. Very unique to the area playground equipment. There's an area for smaller children to play, a playground designed for older children, and a natural playground (I don't care if you're an adult. Go walk around the circle of tree trunks and tell me you don't feel better.) The tunnel is super cute, as are the tiny houses. Really impressed with the outcome of last year's work. Thank you!
Just an outstanding park. Well maintained, plenty of areas for activities, a beautiful fishing pond, walking paths, gazebos, children’s play areas, bmx track, pavilions for picnics and even an air field for hobby plane enthusiasts! Don’t forget to bring your tennis 🎾 racket and baseball gear!
Such a beautiful park with multiple grove locations and they just built an amazing nature inspired playground where one of the ball fields used to be. My daughter LOVES it. And our doggies love the scenery walking around there as well. I also appreciate the events they hold there like the Easter egg hunts and the craft fairs! The ONLY thing they might want to fix up are the bathrooms 🫢
Park is clean and there are lots of parking options. The 1.1 mile loop around the lake is great but can get crowded on weekends. Fishing and kayaking are allowed in the lake. Although the tennis and basketball courts have some issues with cracks, they're usable and we almost never have to wait to use them. The playground by the lake is okay, nothing crazy but good for under 10. Setting is beautiful and there is lots of wildlife. We've seen bluebirds, hawks, a water snake, turtles, ducks and frogs so it's a kid favorite spot. I've never used it but there is a building on the lake that I believe can be rented which was recently renovated.
One of our favorite parks to visit and take a walk through. The trail is nice and easy. There are lots of native plants to look at and talk about and the fishing isn’t too bad either.
Nice to visit and just relax in.
The play area is nice for kids and there are a couple areas for fathers and cookouts as well.
