“Love this gym! What you get for your gym membership is essentially a personal trainer. There are group workouts, but the coach gives you great guidance on what you're doing. You get a lot of personal attention. The work outs are well thought out and varied every day. I'm never pressured to lift heavy weights, but the workouts *are* very challenging...but that's why I picked this place, and continue to come back. Before joining, my impression of CrossFit gyms were that they were cult-like and you just lifted heavy weight. I'm a working professional and former D-1 college athlete. I have no desire to lift heavy weights anymore, but I do want a challenging workout. I love that he designs all workouts, and we're done in an hour (!). If I went to any other gym, I'd be there forever, and only have a 'legs day' or focus on one body part. I've gone away on vacations and he'll give me workouts that fit with the locale that I'm staying in. He modified all workouts during my pregnancy (and I worked out until the day I delivered!). Check it out. If you're a motivated individual who likes a challenge, but not people screaming at you, this is a great place.”
