“I did a retreat at this very welcoming zen meditation center. Kotoku, the resident zen priest offers authentic instruction for newcomers, and offers zazen meditation and temple instruction. Also Kotoku has a great sense of humor and will answer questions on the history and practice of zen in America. Colleen, his wife who is also a lay teacher, will introduce you to zen practices with a warm welcome and tea. The center is in a farmhouse, sitting on top of the hill with great views. The temple, library, and grounds are a great place to experience peace and stillness.”
