“Harman Funeral Home is a quality operation. Sara DeAngelis handled my mother's funeral. Mom and I met with her a few months prior to make the arrangements. Sara was very easy to work with and very helpful. The funeral was flawless, and the they made the entire process as easy as possible on my husband and me.”

“They were easy to deal with, very understanding. Jeffery was so helpful.. once my father met him ,it was an easy decision on where we wanted to have my sister’s service. She passed the week of Christmas , so it was hard to find florists that were open and so on. He pointed us in the right direction and made it all a little easier on a week that would have otherwise been even harder because of the holidays. We went to Lasahn and also Evan’s, but neither were as personable or kind. It was all just business to them. Harkins is different, in the best way possible for this difficult of a situation.”

“I recently attended a viewing and funeral at the Butler Chapel of the Krapf and Hughes Funeral Home. The services were for one of my high school friends' dad who passed away earlier that week. I knew him when I was younger but I haven't seen him in years. When I approached the casket, I saw something exceptional. He looked the same as I remember him! Of course, age set in a bit but that is normal. What I mean but "he looked the same" was he looked like he never even passed away. Like he was sleeping. I heard from the family that he didn't look like himself at all in the nursing home or hospice. But I can"t stress enough how well he looked! And that was just him! The building was a beautiful place! I very much enjoyed the modern look and feel of it. It was also very clean and organized. In an atmosphere like a funeral home that is pretty important. I would absolutely suggest Krapf and Hughes to anyone who is preplanning or recently lost a loved one ”

“Giles & Yeckley is an old school home, but I don't mean that at all in a bad way. They have been in business seventy two years, since 1942, so you would think they know what they are doing. They only do one funeral at a time so their focus is fully on the family in need.”

“When my WW II Veteran Father started hospice the head nurse asked if the arrangements has been made yet, Since they had not she suggested I start calling around to local Funeral Homes. So I took her advice and made a list of 10 local places in White Haven, Freeland, Drums and Weatherly. I started calling down the list inquiring about direct cremation services which was my Father`s written wishes, I cannot tell you my revulsion at the despicable people I had conversations with. They all asked breathlessly if a family member had died. When told no they wanted to know if a family member was about to die. When I would say no that I just wanted some pre-planning pricing quotes you could hear the disappointment in their voices. They then all turned into used car salesmen, offering me today and today only five to eight hundred dollars off their standard cremation costs if I signed up today and the quotes were all high and some downright ridiculous. Finally I connected with Sank and not only did he have the best price he sounded like a really nice human being. Upon meeting Sank he was everything he sounded like on the phone and much more. He was one of the finest, kindest, most compassionate people I have ever met in my life. I really cannot say enough about this man, he is the genuine article. You will not regret entrusting your loved ones last chapter of life to the care and stewardship of Franklin Griffith III.”

“Most caring person I've dealt with, that was a stranger, in the death of my loved one. He is a man of God, and a great comforter! Thank you for all that you did for me and my family, in our sorrow, Mr. Stanton!”
