The estimate was competitive and the job was well done. They removed several layers of old roofing and removed and replaced a skylight. All the employees, as well as Julia, the on sight manager and Shane, the owner, were friendly and respectful. The employees worked well beyond the routine hours to get the job completed in one day. There are expectations you have some knowledge of why you are there and not just walk in asking for random "stuff". It's a smaller shop with not a lot of space to "handout" so I'd suggest you call ahead, during the week, to get questions clarified before you arrive. But what he left out was that if they had ATMs back at that time you wouldn't be able to take out a nickel unless they dispense change which I don't think they ever would have. So it would have been nearly impossible to buy a loaf of bread back then. Now ATMs are much more convenient because there's really nothing less than a dollar anymore on this planet and if there is it's probably not worth buying. “I grew up in this parish with my 3 brothers, Jeffrey, Timothy and Sean, my Mother, Santina and Father Jerry and the Nuns. 🙏🙏🙏 My Mom was very active in the church guild and my Dad sang in the choir for many years. How I loved listening to my Father’s beautiful voice leading the congregation in praise to our Lord at mass. 🙏 Sean became a Master of Ceremonies here, I was married here & my children were baptized here. So much history. I have had many life experiences since I attended Catholic School at St Joan’s as a child. I’m not sure what led me back to my original congregation, but I am positive that this is exactly where I am suppose to be at this point in my life. I do attend Mass wherever my path may lead me but feel most comfortable back home. I have the privilege of seeing childhood friends’ parents and every now and then I run into an old friend also! I’ve gotten involved and made wonderful new friends. We call ourselves ‘The Prayer Warriors’. 🙏❤️🙏❤️🙏❤️ Tuesday Night Ladies Group. We don’t just pray, we volunteer, have get togethers, support each other and we are all VERY different. That’s the beauty of us. Come join us. Prayer is Powerful!
