“One thing I love about Waffle House- you know what you're getting! We went for a late breakfast on Sunday, and churches were letting out so they were busy. But our server was polite and friendly and handled things like a pro. If I recall correctly, his name was Josh. He was a true maestro- conducting the staff and keeping everything together and organized. He had people working together and helping each other. I was very impressed! I ordered the hash brown bowl and got it with sausage gravy that Josh said he had made himself that morning. It was perfect! I thoroughly enjoyed it. My Dining Companion ordered the Superstar Breakfast with a pecan waffle and said it was oh so good. I tried the waffle and agree. Waffle House might not be haute cuisine, but it's solid comfort food that arrives quickly, usually served by someone with a smile. I will go back!!”

“Went her this past weekend following a youth soccer jamboree nearby. We are all glad that we did! The ladies behind the counter were friendly and helpful and the food was amazingly good. All of the BBQ (we had pork and chicken) was perfect and tender, and the sides were really tasty! I had the 'tater salad', which was really good and unique - it was served looking like mashed potatoes, but had a wonderful touch of horseradish in it that was unique! We are not from the area, but if we find ourselves in Buford again, we will be back!”

It all started with a quest to find the best corned beef hash in the city. See, we're Midwestern girls used to hash from a can, not some fancy 'homemade' hash with peppers and such. (Don't knock it until you've tried it!) Anyway, we both agree that Le Peep has won the corned beef hash contest hands down. They have lots of other great stuff, but hash is just our thing.
