“We started at Nesbit Park and hiked to the other SC trailhead and back. Feels like you are right in some backyards, but a wonderful hike. Total at 7.7 miles from out parking spot near the soccer fields to other end and back. Took us just under 3 hours round trip for above average fitness individuals. Trail can be tight with bikes. Suspension bridge is closer to Nesbit Park end as is a really cool feature. Brought our pup and he seemed to enjoy it. Very few trash cans along the way but thankful for them”

“Cherry Park is great place to hang out whether for a peaceful walk or day with the family. New refurbishments to the children’s park make it a must see for local families. Be warned the park can get very busy on weekends, especially when there are competitive games.”

“River Park has great trails for all levels of hikers and bikers. The best trail which is worth mentioning is the Piedmont Medical Center Trail which is 2.25 miles on a paved walkway, perfect for a good walk or a bike ride. Ideal for: families with kids in or out of strollers, pet owners, bikers, joggers - you name it. If you had been looking for the excuses to wait for the "right time", you must go to River Park as that will help you to kill that excuse, well, at least it did it for me. Happy hiking.”

“We were looking for a park with a basketball court. Google maps recommend this little park. Upon arriving, it was a little bit confusing bc we didn't know where to park. The park itself offers, 2 basket ball hoops, hand ball court, volleyball court, soccer field, and a playground including 4 swings but no baby swings. Nice park! We will come back.”
