“It would depend on what it is you are looking for. The beach area was unfortunately so packed you would barely have room for your family. Fishing around the locks and launch was great. Long area where you can spread out and enjoy the peacefulness of the river.”

“Nice paved winding paths that work well with the stroller. Parking lot is off of the main road, and then you walk under the tunnel to get to the paths. The sign is way too far into the park to be seen from the road, so you have to know where you’re headed.”

“Clean campground, beautiful place with waterfront tent sites. Water and garbage bin at each site. 👍 Plentiful options for stuff to do in Clarksville and Nashville. It rained a lot the two times I camped here, might just be bad luck. Thanks for the memories!”

“I took my four kids here to play one morning when the weather was nice ( ages 20 months to 7 years). We all loved it! The have a play ground for toddlers & a regular size playground for bigger kids. Plus they have a baby swing & a seat belt swing. The bathroom was very close to the playground, was clean and there were plenty of tables and places to sit. So happy we finally found such a nice park to play at.”

“It's a great little community park for its purpose. The track is really nice, as well as the nature trail. It's best for walking/running and sports. The playground is very small and water my kids were about 5 they didn't enjoy it much. I'd love to see it improved, however it's not a deal breaker as there's a nice playground right down the road. I love the Veterans Memorial. The bathrooms and grounds are always well kept.”

“9/3/22 - 9/11/22 Our camping experience was one of the best thus far. The facilities are kept in top shape, the site is perfectly level and the views are magnificent. The campsite is super secure and even has Sheriff Department presence on site over the weekends and holidays. They have the most amazing host who goes our of her way to make our stay the best possible experience. We'll definitely return to enjoy this great place. A+”
