“We are fortunate to have Dr. Tem as my daughter's piano tutor. She looks forward to her lessons with him every week. We started about four months ago without knowing how it would go. I made my mind up that we will stick with lessons unless my daughter does not want it. She was getting only one session per week, and she was not doing that much with her piano home other than banging it. We were coming to lesson every week without practice, and I wondered if we were wasting time! Like many of her peers do, she ran around in the middle of her class from time to time. Meanwhile, Dr. Tem patiently keeps her five-year-old mind from wandering and keeps her engaged and curious to learn. He noticed that her seat at home was low; I purchased an adjustable seat instead of the one that came with the piano. Then, about a month ago, she started to practice at home, just by herself! There are times she sits for more than an hour without a break,~2 hours a day. Lately, she runs to her piano when she comes from school. She feels like playing the piano is a big part of her life, and if it continues, it is because we started with the right teacher.”

“Nice little place to stop for gas in the middle of nowhere....Gas prices a little higher than usual but if your the only station around I guess it's just the way it is. They did have a food area inside but I was there early and nothing was ready.”

“A good and caring school. The current principal, a former special education teacher, seems to be involved with each of the children, as well as working PR for the school. The staff is attentive and appears to take great care in helping each child achieve success. My advice to any parent is to always be involved with your child's education and the schools they attend.”

“We're delighted with A New Leaf. Our 3-year old has been a daily student for the last half year and she has been very happy. “My daughter isn't quite two yet but I wanted to get her familiar with the water and more importantly, water safety. Rachael was incredibly patient with her especially the first night when she spent most of the lesson crying for mommy and not listening. I am blown away by my daughter's skill after four lessons. She blows bubbles in the water and can monkey on the wall almost independently. Well worth the money and cannot wait for her to continue her swimming education as she gets older.”
