This two day course was the missing link I needed to pass the general contractors exam. The instructor was very knowledgeable with how to navigate through the books and went above and beyond to help me prepare for the test. I would not have passed without this course.

Can't say enough about how thorough this course was. I was in a hurry so I chased down the earliest course I could find. I scheduled for the two day BC-A for TN. I arrived with older versions of the books that they teach from and they were helpful in providing me with all of the page numbers and specifics to go right along with the class. They suggest taking the Business/Law exam separate from the GC exam. I missed that suggestion and ended up taking both making for a long 7 hour test day. After the two day course, I drove to Chattanooga and passed the exam with above 80 scores the day after leaving the course prep. I will say it wasn't easy but having also purchased practice tests helped as well to familiarize myself with how to navigate through the books. I will be returning to take the commercial and a few other trade exams eventually and will be certain to use these guys!

I took the course prior to taking the BC (residential, commercial, industrial) and I passed the test on the first try. I can openly say I wouldn't have passed first try without the course. Even if you know your stuff, the instructor helps you understand how to navigate the books, and when to know which book to look in for an answer. I highly recommend! Also, they have a member on staff named Cade, who is extremely helpful and worth the money when it comes to when and how to apply for the license.

Our company always uses ACES for our exam prep. They really know how to help you focus on the most important information. I have taken online and in-person classes from them and have passed every time. If you want to pass any of the TN contractor licensing exams, ACES is far and away your best bet!
