  This review is specifically for the wonderful optician named Trish that helped me. I was having trouble with an older pair of glasses and shopping for new ones. She patiently answered many questions I had about getting a new pair, and she also took the time to repair and make my old glasses wearable until I could buy new ones. Thank you Trish.

  Thank you again for fixing the frame on my glasses that I accidentally bent. I have been buying glasses here for 4-5 years. Always have had good service and good prices.

  Nick's customer service was fantastic. Ms. Veronica is also very pleasant. They are a delight everytime! Even when I go into walmart about non-vision related services their smiles and customer service still are top notch.

  I've been going here for at least 5 years. I'm thoroughly pleased with the service (of the Optometrist and the Opticians)! I went to a different Optometrist this year that was close to my home, but I went to Wal-Mart to get my glasses. I'm so glad that I did because the Optician found a serious problem with my prescription (he was able to compare it to past prescriptions). Insurance approved a second exam at a different location because there were other red flags found from the other office. In short, I'm thankful for WAL-Mart Vision Center Ccharlotte Pike! I'm not going anywhere else anymore!👀👓😊

  I initially stopped by to see if they'd do a contacts fitting and "training", and its cost at about 10am on a Saturday. (I had my eyeglass prescription from another optician that I had seen about 1 month earlier, so there was no need for a full eye exam.). The woman at the front desk advised to check back in about 45 minutes because the Doctor was rather busy. (There were lots of people in just about every seat in the office!). The 45 min wait was no big deal as we had some shopping to do. So I checked back around 40 mins layer, the Doctor was available to give me a price ($53! Exactly HALF of what LensCrafters charges!!) and said that he would have the time to take me on in about 10 minutes. The timing was perfect, I go back in - fill in paperwork and I am in the big chair in no time. Doctor Kavanaugh is a super nice guy, quite patient and very helpful and knowledgeable about the various intricacies and brand info for the contacts my particular RX would call for. After about the third style we hit gold and I was on my way. I am loving life with my new lenses!! He even let me keep the other contacts, while they weren't perfect, they still worked! Plus, I had a manufacturer coupon from Acuvue for a free pair, so he sent me home with a different style as a comparison. The whole experience was exceedingly positive and I would absolutely recommend Dr. Kavanaugh to anyone thinking of having an eye exam or just needed a switch up to contact lenses. As I initially stated, I was a walk-in customer on a busy Saturday morning without issue! Give it a go!
