“It's a nice little bar and grill in a strip shopping center. It's very small but has a full service bar, a short order menu and 4 TV's to watch football games. They have different specials for different nights and they offer karaoke. The music played over the sound system is loud but not overwhelming. I had a cheeseburger and crinkle cut french fries, both were very good. I chose this bar and grill because they advertised that they had pool tables. And they do. 7' tables that cost $1.00 per game, bring quarters or there is a change machine. There are a variety of house cue sticks to choose from as well as a bridge. But at only 7' there is not much need for the bridge.”

They do excellent breakfast, the standouts being their custard stuffed French toast, their pancake of the month (currently bananas foster as of Nov 2022), and their cinnamon roll. I got their lumberjack breakfast. I chose 2 over easy eggs, bacon (one of the crispiest and tastiest bacon you may have), potatoes, and 2 super fluffy pancakes. For $15, it’s a great value for the amount of good food you get. Make sure you join the waitlist online as soon as possible! On the day you want to go because there will be a decent wait. Parking is a little tricky, all the open spots are timed between 30-60 minutes depending on the signs. They also have a free parking garage for longer parking.”

“We booked califarmia as our wedding caterers. They are friendly, efficient, fairly priced and absolutely delicious. I love that they source their ingredients from local farmers. Each step of the process was easily navigated. Mitchell was incredible. I am especially thankful for their support during rescheduling our COVID affected date. We never had to wonder if our caterer was going to show up, which I can’t say about all the vendors. They were compliant with proper precautions the day of. I don’t think we could have chosen a better caterer. The entire experience was a good one. I only wish I had more room the day of to eat more of their delicious food.”

Most of the conversation is about the turn the weather just took or did you hear that Jack’s niece is pregnant, in jail, graduated from college? The food was good with home style sides; cabbage & turnip greens for me, mashed potatoes, gravy and white beans for my husband. He had fried pork cutlet, with fried cornbread. We got smoked wings, chicken nachos, and mac n cheese. Wings have a good smokey taste. We got 2 different sauces- the hottest sauce they have, sweet chili, and hot dry rub. I had the beef tenderloin and it was extraordinary. For appetizers we had the cheese board and the brussel sprouts and cauliflower. I typically don't care for cauliflower but this was very good. Everyone loved the cheese board, but I really enjoyed the assortment of caramelized nuts. Finally dessert was fantastic. We ordered several things and shared. The creme brulee or the banana foster cheese cake were my favorite.”
