Have been attending for 3 years now. This is a church that teaches the Bible, not cool stories that try to make you feel good about where you are in life with some Bible verses scattered in to make the story sound Godly. The church lives as they teach, blessed and imperfect but saved through the Grace of God. These teachings run consistent through out all aspects of the church, from the children's ministry into the adult programs.
Really enjoyed our first visit...music was awesome Drums drowned the other Musicians and vocals...I will return as the message delivered outweighs Tom toms and snares...Praise the Lord!
Best church ever! David Lewis, Gib Gibson, and the student ministry is amazing ๐๐๐
If you're looking for a church home... THIS IS IT! Greg "Gib" Gibson is a teaching preacher. NEVER talks over your head. What he says comes directly from the Bible so you KNOW you're hearing God's Word. Davis Lewis is THE best music director in the South. So talented and uses his vocal gift to lift you up. The song selections just put that spiritual longing back into your week! Bill Christian, Pastor of Small Groups genuinely cares about helping you find the right fit for a small group to get connected with so you can dig into God's Word. The children's facility is so clean and the people who volunteer to be there with your newborn to your 6th grader will teach them about His love for one another. Our student ministry has so much to offer your teenager so they feel a part of the group from day one and not an outcast. Self esteem is reinforced and spiritual growth will be seen. There are women's Bible studies, men's prayer breakfasts and retreats... something for everyone who is looking to get plugged in to God's Word.
The worship was great, the sermon's were great, and everyone was friendly. My only issue was that they only have small groups. I like small groups, but it's really intimidating to have to go to a stranger's. I wish they had some kind of a Sunday school class to introduce you to the small groups member's before you actually go to their house.
