They made the most awesome meal of fried chicken, mashed potatoes, green beans, biscuits, apple pie and ice cream. They even had my favorite wine. They took pictures, served us, did the dishes and sent us off with a local gift. My husband had been in contact with Gwen for weeks to pull this off. As a VERY inexperienced rider (once before overseas & awful experience), I cannot express how great this place is for riders of all levels. We booked a private tour & even though the weather turned about halfway through our ride, my family visiting from another state could not stop talking about the horses, scenery & how this was the best ride they’ve ever had. Absolutely will be going back given they are open year round. And for those with concerns about the treatment of the horses, well cared for & plenty of open space for them. I wish that I had taken more photos during our ride to show how pretty their land is as well, but again I am inexperienced and was focused on finally getting comfortable on a horse, which happened! Book this one on your next trip! And don’t forget to say hello to their other animals too.”
