After over a year of trying to get two other companies out to our home to install a tank to supply our fireplace, we found Holston Gases and called them. On Sept. 2nd, we were told the they could install the tank on or before Sept. 30th. Other companies had told us they would be out in 3-4 months to install, but they never showed up. On Sept. 9th, I received a call from Holston Gases that they would be at our house on Sept. 12th to estimate the job, and if they had all the proper equipment on their trucks, they would go ahead and do the job. Today, Sept. 12th, they showed up as promised, installed the tank in no time, showed me how to use all the equipment, and charged less than the quote (so charged what the job cost instead of just charging what I had already agreed to pay). The installers were so polite. This is just such a nice company, and it was a pleasure paying the bill at the end knowing that the money supported a good business. I would recommend this company to anyone.
Okay so a crazy and amazing thing happened today! And because of that I wanted to give a shout out and commend them! We have a personal 100# propane tank that we refill for use in our RV that we reside in full time because my husband is a traveling electrician, working a local project. Normally we go to Holston gases for refilling but we realized late on Friday our secondary tanks were low. So we ran to tractor supply and paid 100.00 for a fill to make it through the weekend. Fast forward to today, I hooked the 100# up turned the valve and realized the valve had malfunctioned...long story short, 100# propane leaking, fire department called. Protocol the FD has to have a licensed propane person come and remove the tank to a safe location for expelling. Not only did Clarksville fire department wait 2.5-3 hours for Jason (holston gases) to make it to me and remove the tank, but when he arrived he had brought us another 100# tank completely full! This was above and beyond what we expected! So a shout out to Clarksville Fire department for waiting so patiently, y’all were awesome! And to holston gases for bringing us a replacement tank completely full with no additional charge to us! So many amazing and kind people here in Clarksville! So this above and beyond customer service is truly humbling, Thank you! Holston gases just got a customer for life!
