Support your local skate shop! You've probably heard it before. It matters! Ron Hale, the owner, is honest. He's more concerned about getting you what you need to enjoy skating than in making money. Whether you're like me, getting back in to skating after 30+ years because your grandson is learning, or you're like my grandson and just starting out, your local skate shop is there for you. They'll answer questions and sell you what you need, not whatever they can. They'll also tell you the best parks and scenes and about upcoming events. Get to know them. If you live in Memphis, get to know Ron. You'll be glad you did. He runs a traditional (in the sense of what skate shops were like in the 70s and 80s) shop. It's not fancy. Shoot, he doesn't even accept credit cards (cash or PayPal only). But the vibe is exactly what it should be and the people are skaters. Everyone is friendly. No one is going to judge you. Just go in, get setup and then head out and enjoy the day on your board.

Went to this shop when I was a kid . Took my kiddo in for a new board , after riding around on his I went back and got me an awesome cruising board . Great shop and customer service.

I live in NJ and had a very special request Ron messaged back and forth with me for over 2 hours, helped me with the presents I needed and made it possible for my nephew to receive them. He went over and above what he had to do. I would like to say how thankful and grateful I am and this is now the only shop I will go to or recommend. Don't pass by here stop in you won't be disappointed!!!
