We were at the Memphis National Cemetery June 5th of this year. We were unable to locate the area we were Looking for. Mr.H,H. stepped in and showed us where we needed to be and gave us fantastic information. The cemetery is neat, well kept, and the caretakers were working hard. Mr. H.H. and his crew are a credit to your cemetery!!! Thank you!
Beautiful national cemetery with a nice visitor's center and impeccable grounds keeping. This is a must visit for anyone with an interest in history and/or cemeteries. They truly do a fantastic job in honoring our veterans
My grandparents are here and it was an amazing service I was named after my grandmother Ethel I was so close to her my heart is still aching it's been over 50 yrs.
I played ball in the open section when I was a child. It's filled up now basically. My father was buried there in 1977. It's one of the most beautiful & well kept cemeteries I've ever seen. Wasn't always that way. A real history of our country from the civil war on. A remembrance of fallen patriots, some unknown. I believe some of the Confederate tombstones have been altered. Shame
Both of my parents, friends of my parents & other family members are buried in this cemetery. Services are wonderful, staff is exceptional and helpful. I highly recommend anyone who can have a loved one buried here....do it. It is always clean, full of staff members working on the grounds......and a landmark for Memphis.
