Come for the ambiance! If you love Elvis, you have to eat here! The ribs and shrimp were amazing. Also the burgundy mushrooms were delicious. I came here as a single woman alone during a layover and totally felt safe. Also the attached gift shop was convenient and priced reasonably.
Marlowe's is the absolute best place to eat at in Memphis. We went there back in March. I had the Ribs and they were truly the best ribs I've ever had in my life! That's no joke! Being an Elvis fan I wanted to visit one of Elvis's favorite places and so glad I did. My Husband and I talk about going back to Marlowe's all the time. And we always highly recommend it to our friends if they ever visit Memphis. Can't wait to go back there someday. The ride in the pink limo from the Guesthouse was the best and our driver was so awesome and hysterically funny! He kept us entertained. The giftshop is pretty awesome as well! I could probably go on and on with this review but seriously it's the best. Try it! You won't be disappointed!
Loved the food, establishment and limo service from hotel to restaurant and back. We tried appetizers (smoked Gouda excellent). Rack of ribs for two, brisket and pulled pork melt in your mouth goodness. We even splurged on dessert, shared of course, bananas foster. Delicious. Yum
Best ribs I’ve ever had! Like fall off the bone, melt in your mouth divine! Brisket and other sides are pretty amazeballs too. Customer service is fantastic and the vibe is nice and laid back. There’s so many great menu options you can’t go wrong. Just save room for desert. The apple pie is to die for
Tonight we were fortunate enough to find ourselves at Marlowes right up the street from Graceland. We met Mike third generation family ownership, he graciously gave us some history and a bit of his time sharing his passion for the restaurant ,food and local history of course including Elvis. Our server “V” was friendly and upbeat and also seemed to really love her work, fast and efficient as well! My brisket was probably the best I have had in all my 59 years and my wife’s burger her personal favorite was flawlessly prepared. Drinks in abundance and I have to mention the Banana foster fried donut ice cream dessert it was out of this world! These are great people serving great food in a great location! Support the locals! The restaurant also had a very interesting gift shop my wife loved make sure and stop in highly recommended!!!!
