(June 14, 2023, 4:18 pm)10/10. Food is DELICIOUS. We spent our Summer Vacation in Tennesse and ate at 3 different "soul food" spots before finding this GEM. None of them came even close. Memphis is where its at when it comes to smothered porkchops and green beans. Thank you Veronica for the Hospitality! We will be back!

I had smothered pork chops, cabbage,sweet potatoes and a piece of baked chicken. My family and I are from St Louis. We will add this to our trip next year. Thank you guys!!!
(April 23, 2023, 12:51 pm)When you see a line in front of the restaurant 20 minutes before they open you know it’s got to be good.
We waited in line and once we got inside I changed my mind 4x because it all looks AMAZING…
Finally decided on 2 smothered pork’s chops with my sides being spaghetti and green beans.
My GF got baked chicken (dark meat) dressing, mashed potatoes w/gravy and Mac n cheese. I got corn bread, she got a roll and we washed it down with sweet tea.
Dessert: banana pudding & peach cobbler
The pork chops are HUGE, tender and well seasoned, the gravy is delicious
Spaghetti, sooo good different then I’m used but it was cooked with love. Green beans w/white potatoes (note: no need to add salt or pepper to ANYTHING)
Baked chicken: OMG! Fell off the bone! The dressing, the best I’ve ever had, mashed potatoes…mmmm and the Mac, extra cheesy but not too much you can tell they use good cheese not the cheap stuff.
Banana pudding: my GF was blown away… just wow
Sweet Tea: was sooo good it made my heart happy
Waiting to try the peach cobbler for later
Had an opportunity to meet one of the owners, she was so incredibly kind to us
Overall: 10/10 best food I’ve had in Memphis hands down
(October 18, 2022, 1:34 pm)Me and my cousin came to see Graceland and the night before I had googled soul food. This place is amazing!! I ordered yams, mac n cheese and fried chicken wings. Best soul food I've had in a loooong time. If I lived in the area I'd be here alot. But since I'm from Killeen, Texas all I could do was rave about it on Facebook. Excellent cooking!! (December 22, 2021, 1:11 am)This food is so good!! It tastes just like what your grandma would cook at home. Everything is fresh and seasoned well. The chicken wasn’t cooked too hard and the peach cobbler was so tasty. The staff was pleasant and the restaurant was very clean. I highly recommend stopping by this place when visiting Memphis!
