(February 16, 2023, 12:01 am)My wife and I love this mountain bike park. It it has three levels of difficulty black, blue, and green level trails. The only issue with this trail system is that you can get lost very easily. I wish there was a little bit better signage, but once you figure out the trail system it is absolutely amazing. Just make sure that you ride in the counterclockwise direction, or if you are hiking, hike in the clockwise direction.
They have a wonderful new jump section that is awesome. My wife loves to ride the green trail she can ride it over and over and over. The orange section is difficult for those who are not accustomed to riding mountain bikes. My wife did enjoy riding this though, there are a lot of Rocky sections that you have to watch out for on the orange section.
(November 25, 2022, 7:09 pm)Locke 4 is one of the best trail systems in the Nashville area. There are several miles of trail with varying terrain, but most are easy and Family friendly (However there are at least two jump lines for more advanced riders). The trail has beautiful views of the Cumberland River, and there is plenty of wildlife to see (Deer are always there, and are not scared of people).
(May 20, 2019, 8:36 am)Hiked here in May 2019. It's better set up for a bike trail than hiking. It has markers but several are on the ground on fallen trees. If you look at the map before you head out it will make following the paths easier. The areas closest to the water does have garbage that has washed up. Minimal views of the lake from the trail itself. Fishing and picnic area at the point is nice.
