“Terrific little country diner that was well worth the 20 mile trip. We went for breakfast, our favorite meal of the day. We ordered the country fried steak breakfast, home fries, and biscuit and gravy, eggs over easy and a BLT with grits. The BLT was excellent. The toast and bacon were nice crisp. Just enough lettuce to add the taste and a slice of tomato that had a good flavor. Grits were cooked with the right combination of salt and pepper to give them a good taste. The country fried steak was a generous portion covered with country gravy. The biscuit with covered with the same gravy. The gravy had a good pepper flavor. The eggs were cooked as ordered.”

“Top Hog has some of the BEST catfish in middle Tennessee. We ordered the catfish platter and the hamburger. The catfish filets are cooked to perfection! For the sides, we chose the white beans with onions and chow chow (which were really good) and the collard greens (the greens are really spicy, even for someone who likes spicy) so be prepared if you choose them! We also had an order of onion rings, which have a nice flavor with a thick semi crunchy batter. You can’t go wrong choosing to eat here! A couple of things to note, the prices are very reasonable (especially for the portions you get) they seem to be super busy at lunch and dinner time (could wait 30-40 min for table) and they only accept cash or check, no credit cards! Having said that, it’s worth the wait as well as the cash!”

“Great place to Worship, music is great, the Pastor here has been close to 30 years, from his youth ministry days, changed happens, and eventually Ashley was voted in as Pastor, but now we don't have a youth ministry, no problem, I can still do youth ministry, and he did, amazingly, not to mention Ashley's degree, armed with a Masters in music from Austin Peay, Ashley asked the youth, how many of you here are interested in taking music lessons in piano, or guitar? We now have two of our youth, working full time as choir directors at a church in Ohio, and California however, Matt, our Californian is also working as Youth minister, and Tammy is working with parts of Armish community to bring Christians and Armish together, and so far she's doing great, and kids are coming to the Lord!”
