There really are so many wonderful things to say about the entire team at VRSM. The team at VRSM has guided my dog, and me, through two separate surgeries over the course of the past year. I was overwhelmed my dog needed a TPLO surgery and by how much time and effort it would take for her to recover and regain her strength and pre-surgery life. I spent over thirty minutes on the phone asking every question on my very long list as one of the members of the amazing team at VRSM explained the entire process to me, answered each of my questions, and addressed all of my concerns. A few weeks after surgery we had our consultation with Dr. Turner. I cannot say enough about how kind, knowledgeable, and understanding she was during our first meeting. She truly is remarkable. She was able to explain to us what our dog was going through post-surgery, how well she was recovering thus far, and what our dog would need over the course of the next few months to not only fully recover, but to do so in a safe manner. We spent the next few months going to VRSM twice a week. During each of our visits the team worked with our dog through a series of exercises, lasers, therapies, and the use of an underwater treadmill to slowly and safely help our dog regain her strength and recover from surgery. At the beginning of each session a therapist takes the time to speak with us about how we think our dog is doing, what concerns we might have, and any changes we may have seen since her last session. After each session a therapist comes back out and gives us a complete assessment how our dog did, ways she has improved, changes they needed to make to the session that day for optimal results, and any changes they think need to be made going forward. Again, we have been going to VRSM for nine months, and this level of service and attention to detail is given at every single session. I’m going to call myself out here, and say: I’m a pretty high-maintenance dog owner. I always have a question. I always have a concern. I always need something re-explained to me. And every single time. And I do mean every single time. A member of the VRSM team has been patient, gracious, and kind to me as they spent extra time ensuring I felt comfortable. I truly feel the team at VRSM deserves to be recognized for how exceptional they are. However I also felt this review needed to be written to help all the dogs and dog owners who may be facing a similar circumstance to ours. To be faced with rehabilitation after surgery, an injury, or a diagnosis can be emotional and overwhelming. But to have a place like VRSM to bring your dog to can be life changing for them. I promise. It seems crazy to say this, but: One of the very best things that ever happened to our dog was her needing a TPLO surgery. It brought Dr. Turner and her entire VRSM team into our lives. They have reshaped our dog’s life after surgery and have added a level of quality to her life as she begins to age that we simply would not have been able to offer our dog without the guidance, knowledge, and kindness of the VRSM team. If your goal is to find your dog the very best care possible, then you have just found the absolute perfect team to call.

My Great Dane Winston loves going to rehab here. We moved here recently from Houston, and I was concerned about finding a new rehab center that he liked, but this place blows the one in Houston (which I liked a lot) out of the water. I even enjoy going with him! The professionals who work here are very attentive, knowledgeable and highly skilled at what they do. You can tell it is not just a job to them, as they are also very passionate about what they do. I love that the rehabilitation building is separate from the vet clinic so that the dogs can relax and be in a more stress-free environment while getting treatment. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking to improve their dog’s health.

I cannot say enough wonderful things about this practice. I have a fairly large family of pets, both cats and dogs, and have trusted them for years with the loving and professional care of my furbabies. All of the veterinarians here are the best you will find Anywhere. I say that without hesitation. Dr. Malone has been taking care of my pets since before they started this practice. He and his partners have created a beautiful place where you can find the best care around for your animals. They will let you know that you and your fur baby are their first priority. They guide me on all things “healthy” where my pets are concerned. Whether it is a well visit or a sick visit, I know we are in the best of hands. The entire support staff is amazing. They show so much love to your pets and also give you, the pet parent, support when you are going through a difficult time with an illness of one of your pets. The entire practice is true professionals with heart. They are AAHA accredited, which tells me their standard of care is top notch because of the high standards required to get this accreditation. That means a lot to me. Oh!! And in their boutique, you can pick up a special treat for your fur baby after your visit. That is so much fun. I highly recommend them to anyone wanting the best care possible for their pet family.

You will not find better care for your pets than here!!! I brought my cat and dog, both elderly, in weekly for rehab - specifically laser therapy (I chose to come this often, it varies by pet). It made a world of difference in their lives. They both have advanced arthritis and mobility issues, but after starting our routine here both were playing and jumping again without pain or discomfort! Dr. Turner would regularly reevaluate them and complemented their laser with beneficial supplements (customized to each pet). Dayna is an excellent rehab technician and really knows her stuff!! She, and the other rehab techs, are truly dedicated and skilled at what they do. We moved out of the state and I cannot find a vet or rehab facility yet that compares to here. I cannot thank them enough for improving my furbabies quality of life while we lived in TN!!!

My dog, Clarabelle, has had two TPLO surgeries within the past two years. Animal Rehabilitation of Tennessee helped to make the recovery of both legs much easier, building strength and muscle after her surgeries. She was back on her feet in no time, and stronger than ever with the use of their hydrotherapy and laser therapy sessions!
