“I went in hoping to get a pair of jeans and two pairs of jean shorts taken in at the waist. The woman I spoke to at the counter was very professional, accurate in her measurements, and clear in her explaining on how the work would be done. (She expressed concerns about getting the matching thread color and how they would dye it to get as close as they could.) She said they could have all of it done within five days. I came in today to pick them up, a little nervous on how well they would fit, and they are all PERFECT. The thread color is so accurate that I would swear they used the same thread. Everything fits better than when I originally purchased them at a different size. On top of that, all of the alterations cost me less than what it would have to have purchased new pairs in a smaller size. I will 100% be going to them for future alterations. So so impressed.”

“Clean, well maintained. There are plenty of washing machine options... Single load, double load, 4 & 6 (or was it 8) load options. There were a few customers in there when I arrived and I was worried I wouldn't be able to use one of the larger machines (I had a couple comforters I planned to wash together). There were a few still available but if not I could have split the load into smaller machines & the price was about the same. There's a TV if interested, plenty of laundry folding tables and carts, and chairs to sit on while waiting.”

Luckily, we had an extra section of carpet that would work for a replacement but we had such a tough time finding someone to come repair it for us. But Carpet technologies was able to repair it in a timely manner and for a reasonable price. “After having picked up my tuxedo jacket from Heritage Cleaners, I discovered that nearly all of the buttons were broken. Fortunately, I had another suitable jacket to wear to the symphony that evening. When I returned the jacket to the Cleaners a few days later, they were profusely apologetic and assigned their seamstress the task of sewing on new buttons, free of charge. Again, when I picked it up, I was greeted with more apologies, this time from what I presume was the manager/owner. The issue, as we both understood it, was that while buttons can become brittle, I should have been notified. Here's the thing: my situation, as described above, was obnoxious (it's a textbook definition of a White Person Problem), yet there was no reason for my reaction to be so. They couldn't have responded more professionally. I'm happy to keep my business with them.”
