“My family and I love this church. We have tried other churches before but never felt at home like we do here. The Preacher Eric Reed is absolutely amazing and doesn't preach over your head he does it in a way you can understand. Every sermon is spot on and hits so close to home. Their worship team is extraordinary, and so moving each and every song is their own that they worked on creating together and will bring tears to your eyes. The children's ministry is incredible and works so well with the children, I have two that absolutely love going. They have classes for every age group. Their security team do an outstanding job, they also have a team who stands outside to direct you where to go, and a fantastic greeting team on the inside for new comers to help you navigate your way threw and help show you around. They also have a fresh coffee area with extraordinary friendly people that keep the coffee hot and fresh for both the 9a.m service and the 11 a.m service. They also offer adult classes and groups for all different kinds of interest and needs anywhere from learning different parts of the Bible, to How to become a Foster parent or to adopt a child, as well as and excellent Recovery class on Sunday nights with Pastor Brandon and so much more!!!!! Everyone on their service team is required to do a background check and is repeated yearly. Not only is The Journey Church growing fast but they are also always helping the needs of families. “We have had to call McBride a couple of times recently. The first time was a quick fix at a great price on our downstairs thermostat. The second was to replace our upstairs HVAC after 15 years of service. Needless to say, we have found our go-to HVAC/electrical contractor. Jerry, the owner, is a straight shooter who knows the difference between replacement and repair. His prices are unbeatable by the corporate shops who pass their overhead onto the consumer. To top it off, he noticed we're Veterans, and he discounted the already great price to show his appreciation. There isn't too many left like this in business.”

“On February 21, 2022 I was involved in a near fatal collision I slid off Cairo Bend Road in Lebanon and hit an Oak tree breaking both of my legs in several places. I was trapped in the vehicle for quite some time. Wilson County emergency management was the first to arrive. I still haven’t found the names of the individuals involved that helped save my life that day but I will tell you if it wasn’t for them I wouldn’t be alive! Also there was highway patrol officers there helping extract me out of the vehicle. I have so many people to thank. It’s been just a little over a month and I am in a wheelchair for a while but because of these great folks getting me out of the car and rushing me to Vanderbilt I will someday walk again thank the Lord. As soon as I get the names of the individuals that helped me that day I will add them to this post. Thank you Tennessee highway patrol and Wilson county emergency management team for saving my life. I love you guys!”
