Fulton Mansion State Historic Site

I'm a soft sell on historic buildings. This one very well done. It puts you into a different time and culture. Enjoyed a lot.

Love this museum and their staff is super courteous. The house is in great shape after restoration and has a very interesting history. Definitely a must when visiting Rockport, TX!

Beautiful place to see if you love history. The have done a wonderful job restoring this home. Staff was very informative and answered questions with such enthusiasm.... just loved this experience.

I was only able to see the outside because they stop selling tickets at 3:15 pm… I arrived at 3:25 pm. I was really excited to see this historical site, but I understand there are rules. I should have planned better. Hopefully I can visit another time in the future. It was interesting just seeing the outside. I’m happy I at least got to walk the property. It’s very pretty.
From what I read online, they are open everyday except Monday, tickets are $7 per person and from my personal experience today, they stop selling tickets 45 minutes prior to closing.

Love this place. Tour guide extremely knowledgeable. I especially loved how parts of the wall and floor were cut out so we could see the extraordinary construction. Awesome restoration with the detailed furnishings.
