“If you are looking for a place that's quiet and fishing friendly this is it. Our 40 footer was an interesting park but was successful. Rear was almost over the water. I watched crabs, speckled trout and red fish do their thing from my back window. Rockport is close by and has everything you need. Ray the camp host is very helpful. Neighbors were also great. We will be back, soon.”

“Everything about this place was great for exactly what it was, a motel to sleep in and bathe in. Great bed, good a/c in 105° summer heat with fridge and microwave and table. Nice flat screen with cable and spacious bathroom. Big walk in shower. After calling and looking online in Rockport, Aransas, and Port A it was the cheapest next to oyo and oyo is for junkies and addicts. There is no, breakfast or pool which is reflected by its price compared to everywhere else. Great location, rockport 5 to 10 mins away, heb and walmart less than 5 mins, and port a 10 mins depending on ferry time. Great customer service, can't say enough about this place for the budget conscious. Will be back.”

“The BBQ and bread pudding here is off the charts. We have been here several times, and the jalapeño cheese sausage and brisket are our favorite, and the cream corn along with their great desserts. Always great service. This last trip I bought some of their salted Caramel coffee they can grind the beans there for you as well. It was delicious. Just wish they were open later in the evening.”

GET THE BREAD. Truly glorious, airy, perfect amount of crusty, warm, and perfect with a swipe of butter. No picture because we demolished it before i could take a photo. The oysters in Marsala sauce was otherworldly. Phenomenal Marsala sauce in a risotto filled with delicious grilled oysters. Not a combo I ever would have expected but one I'll go back for again and again. The creamy chicken in cobijas was my choice and I loved it. Cobijas is apparently a cheese? These were, overly simplified, chicken enchiladas with black beans and rice. The plate is a symphony of skinless seared/grilled chicken that has a delicious slight crunch to it, wrapped in homemade corn tortillas and surrounded by white cheese and what tasted like a green creamy tomatillo sauce. Whatever it is? It was delectable. Everyone loved their apps and entrees. Service was relaxed, extremely warm, and friendly. Just go, you won't regret a thing.”

The reason I gave 4 stars is because the boyfriend had a 3 inch hair in his burger and wanted to get sick since he didn't notice til after eating most of it. So we ended lunch and left. I wanted to try the place again while we're in town but that kind of killed it.”

We enjoyed our coffee out in the deck overlooking the canal in the early morning hours and our wine during the evening hours…Great location. Close to several eateries, the beach and Winery by the Bay. The peacefulness was by far the best. There is plenty of room for family and friends. Great place to stay!♥️”
