When you spend six months or more planning an event you pray that everything, down to the smallest detail is perfect. I thank my new friends at The Red Velvet Bakery for delivering on their promise to make the freshest, most delicious rolls for the event. So many stopped to ask who made them and I was delighted to share. They were the perfect mix of firmness to support my husband’s BBQ. Thank you Red Velvet Bakery.
This is one of those places that goes beyond the 5 Stars and Reviews. Simply a must try for anyone in or near San Antonio.
It's a charming little Cafe that is a true hidden gem. Everything they make and serve is authentic and delicious.
It's one of the few cultured and principled places that makes you believe that will convince you there is more to cafeterias than pretty pictures and the dollars. They run this place with a real purpose - to serve sandwiches hand crafted to perfection and to create pleasant experiences for all guests.
The only thing this place maybe bested by is the people that run it.
I travel extensively but there are only a handful places that I hold in such high regards.
Bon Appétit!
Such a beautiful setting and ambiance. It is a wonderful breath of fresh air in this part of town! It is not 'close' by but the service and food are well worth it. The BLT was beyond delicious and the red velvet cake for dessert was so good I wanted to buy the whole cake and bring it home. I will be back here asap.
The food and service were absolutely fantastic. It was quite a drive but well worth it.
I forgot to take a picture of the home made chips which were better than the ones that came with the brisket sandwich.
A hidden back road delightful little place. You would of thought you warp into another time. The lovely ladies are well dressed and very pleasant mannered. The cakes behind the case look very delightful delicious. We stayed awhile to enjoyed eating lunch. The menu prices are reasonable for the area. If gone to San Antonio you will be paying alittle more. Next time we will try breakfast.
