“Stopped by this morning on the drive up from Corpus and was smiling ear-to-ear when my breakfast plate arrived. If you grew up on homemade southern style breakfast this is a great place to try out. Best grits and biscuits that I have had after 15 years of searching across Texas. Sat at the counter and had quick and immediate service. Had a chance to talk to the staff/cooks and felt like I was back home catching up with a favorite aunt. The gas station was just a basic, but busy, roadside Truck Stop. A little worn for the wear but you could tell they put a personal touch on it. There's a hotel/motel attached but that was not part of our stop. Plenty of room to park, no other businesses around, and space to walk your pets if needed.”

I got all the way home and didn't have my side salad. When I called her she said "Oh yea". I drove back in and she didn't even say she was sorry. Food so good I will return but she is going to hurt the business.”
