Boulderdash Cabin & RV Park

Boulderdash Cabin & RV Park is a great place to spend some time and relax. We stayed in the cabin while there, and it had most everything we needed. The owners were very accommodating and friendly. Thank you Carol-anne and Lyn. Hope to see you again.

We had a very peaceful and relaxing Christmas at Boulderdash this year. Andrea was a great host during our stay. The roads were a little rough and windy but well worth it. It accommodated our 43 FT Class A motor home. We enjoyed the abundance of wildlife and the great walking trail along the river. Highly recommend.

Called the camp ground got a hold of Carol Ann she was able to make room for us. The road to there is a little rough but was totally doable with our big rig. 36 ft Class A with toad. We were greeted by Andrea and her daughter. We were able to pull in to our spot with our tow vehicle attached. Wow what a beautiful, peaceful campground. You don’t even have to leave the campground to enjoy the wild life. Well maintained and just cute set up. There is not a bad space in this campground.Go down and walk on the river and just get lost in your thoughts! The rocks on the river has such characters . So many things can be created!
There was a problem with our rig. Lyn was so gracious to let my husband use his tools and shop to fix it . Andrea, the camp host was full of information on sight seeing. Went to Lost Maples well wroth it. Hill country state park is real close also well wroth it. Just 45 minutes away from San Antonio. This campground is in our top 10 list!!!

This place was wonderful! In the heart of the cowboy capital, Boulder Dash is right on the medina river. The place has magical solar lights and whimsical decor everywhere! The owners and host are the most gracious and friendly folks, who treat you like family. There is plenty to do in bandera (dude ranch horse riding, rafting, stargazing!) Or just hang out on the various terraces and fire pits on Boulder Dash to soak in the serenity! Thanks for the awesome time!

Boulderdash is the best place to go! Our family is from Houston and we needed a getaway before the beginning of school. It was peaceful and serene. We love Hill Country and this spot did not disappoint. The water was low so we had to walk a little way to find a spot where we could submerge but it was well worth it. The cabin was perfect for our family of 5 and our 2 dogs. Everything about it is well thought out! We definitely recommend this spot for a vacation.
