(October 16, 2022, 4:32 pm)This RV Resort is amazing! The sites are clean and the amenities are nice. We were able to invite a few friends over and use the pavilion with a full kitchen. My guest were so impressed they could not believe it was an RV park. If you are looking for a relaxing place to stay with access to the Colorado River, this is the spot. Kristina, the Resort manager, was so helpful by offering site locations and amenities base on my plans. I appreciate how attentive the staff was to make our stay so pleasant. I highly recommend the Basin RV Resort. They are really a 10 in my opinion!
(July 30, 2022, 2:34 pm)I enjoyed my stay there while I was shooting a film in the Bastrop area. I had a great location with a fire pit (too hot outside to use) plus trees, tables and chairs. Front desk was courteous and helpful . My site was perfect! The bath house was impeccably clean--24/7. I did wish the hot water traveled faster to the showerhead--and a little more water pressure is always welcomed. But without a doubt I'd gladly stay here again!
(June 2, 2022, 9:18 pm)Mark and Kristina did a great job keeping the property clean. The bathrooms, laundry room, lounge and venue (party room) are all very clean and well kept. They communicated well when things needed maintenance or when grounds people were coming to mow. We love the large sites and the big concrete patios. There’s plenty of grass between sites too. We hope to be back next winter.
(April 26, 2022, 4:01 pm)This was one of the loveliest RV parks we have been to in the 2 years that we have had our small RV. Lots of trees and a beautiful area along a river at the end of the park but very near our space. At the back of our space was a pasture where there were 4 cows grazing with their calves who were cavorting with each other! In the evenings a herd of 10+ deer came down to that same area and entertained us with their antics! Unfortunately the highway that ran in front of the park was busy and somewhat noisy from traffic but this noise decreased greatly before bedtime. At night we were able to open the large back door on the rear of the van and fall to sleep serenaded by the birds. The bath/shower room looked brand new! They were immaculate and rarely used so plenty of hot water for my shower! Even though almost every trailer had a dog(s), there was minimal barking. They must have strict guidelines for the majority of the residents who live there for months at a time since nearly every site was neat as a pin! It may be difficult to get reservations since there were only about 4 empty RV Sites when we pulled in! Lovely pool and pool house with billiards table. So thrilled they gave us a site with a full view of the deer in the pasture!

Courteous staff, the swimming pool and splash pad were great fun and in good condition, the game room has pool table, really nice sitting areas, TV and located at swimming pool - would be a great place to have a gathering. RV spaces are level and all components work! Has dog park and nice play ground equipment for the kiddos, and a deck on the river. What else could you ask for!!!
