“If you like carne asada / bistec steak tacos this is your spot! Tacos are decent in size, seasoned well topped with onions and cilantro. Add a squirt of lime and green hot sauce and your taste buds will be swirling with authentic Mexican flavors. After a half dozen visits this taco spot earns a great review for being so consistent! The atmosphere is nice especially for an outdoorish taco stand. Parking lot needs work but they do a great job with decor and great pictures of their menu items. Looks great! The ladies at the ordering booth can be a bit to the point so be sure to know what you want before ordering at the window. Otherwise they’re generally fairly friendly overall! Did I mention the horchata!? Perfect! Full of flavor and very refreshing! It’s not at all watery like you often find at other places. Probably the best horchata I’ve found around town! 3 steak tacos and a large horchata under $20 ain’t to bad these days! (Some other review mentioned it was expensive, hate to break it to ya man but steak and everything theses days is expensive! That’s what happens when money is printed from thin air, inflation!) There’s plenty of more good to be said here but overall this place has been very good! I look forward to eating many more tacos 🌮 here! Thanks again!”

“I am a graduate of the adult program and have been involved with this adolescent campus near Austin. The staff is really incredible and dedicated. You can tell that for them it is not just a job but really their life's work to help turn the lives around of the boys they help. I attended their recent fall banquet where a student testified and it brought me to tears. You can tell that real change is happening in the lives of the boys here. Love this program and so glad it is here in Texas!”

“After reading rave reviews about the Chinese food here on Nextdoor, we decided to stop by and give it a try. The owner, Rob, was there and visited with us for a bit—SUPER nice and helpful. They were very accommodating of our desire for a low-carb meal, so served our bento boxes with salad instead of rice or noodles. The food was delicious—very fresh and nicely seasoned, and the beef was very tender. We'll definitely be back. I love seeing business owners with a very customer-first attitude, and they have that.”

“My sister and I shpped first, their Tortillas are the best in town. That is a guarantee. If you buy Tortillas you need to buy them here. Also the meat market has great prices on so many varieties of meat! Spiced this way and that. You could buy a different one each day for 2 weeks. I love everything I have tried so far and that is quite a few. Their vegetables are very nice. And the dried goods are a wonder to me. It is like going to Mexico to shop. Afterwards we ate in the restaurant and it was sooo good! We ate too much. The plates are huge. We shared one and after stuffing ourselves, we each took some home. And the price was very reasonable. We left very happy. Everyone in the store, employees and customers were very helpful. We even had our pictures taken like we were tourists 😃😃 If you have not gone there yet, get over there, you are missing out!”

“Came here with my Abuela to grab a bite to eat. She was in the mood for hamburgers and I just saw this place coming down the road, so I looked it up. I'm glad we stopped here, because the food was great. It was fresh and came very quickly, and for the price, it's very filling. Not to mention the very nice and attentive waiter. She was working the bar most of the time, but she still made sure to check in on my grandma and I. Overall, this place was really inviting and very nicely decorated. I'd gladly come to visit again whenever I'm in the area. Oh, along with the music. It was very nicely chosen. Definitely stop by if you see this place.”

“This is the second time we stayed at Basin RV Resort. The spaces are spacious, clean, concrete and the hookups are convenient. This Resort is located close to downtown, restaurants, and a quick walk to the Colorado River. Easy in, easy out. Yes the highway is near, but the sound did not bother us, especially when the air conditioner is on, so it wasn't a problem for us. We will definitely stay there again!”
