“The pen is small and cheap looking at first impression. It was designed for German School Children. I can only assume the reason that this pen is now so expensive for a rather inexpensive item, would be due to the fact that German School Children no longer use the pens. There is no longer a need to manufacture millions of pens, thus raising the price. It is German made, and manufactured to the standard German perfection, but with inexpensive materials. The pen writes like a dream, perhaps the best I have tried thus far. There is no skipping customary for fountain pens. The writing was smooth and clean. The Ink flow for the flex nib is excellent. The ink I used is Pilot Iroshizuku Bottled Fountain Pen Ink. If you purchase this pen, be prepared in dealing with a child's size pen but one that writes excellent. Overall, It is my opinion that $49.99 for this pen is way too expensive for what you get. It really should be maybe $20. There are much better deals out there. It is for this reason I am rating this NOS Reform 1745 Fountain Pen, Two Tone Gold Flexible EF Nib Piston Filling, a 4 star.”

“I have not been able to experience their training first hand, but it's a beautiful farm, extremely well-kept, and pure aesthetics is definitely a factor in whether I will give my business to a company. You can put beautiful pictures online to portray a certain look, but if you can't back up your claims in reality, you haven't much to stand on. I look forward to taking my kids out for their first horseback lessons.”
