It's a peaceful space. Serene for the mind, heart and soul.
This is an oddity. It's such a beautiful park located in the most random neighborhood. It's relaxing and isolated from the post-industrial area around it. This was the first park I visited when I got to San Antonio and it holds a special place in my heart for that reason. That all said, it does offer the option of being able to hold a small (think less than 45 people in all) wedding and it's perfect for that very reason. It is a bit off the beaten path bit it's worth going out of your way if you're already in the south town area. I hope this helps someone.
It is a nice little park to have in the neighborhood. Great as a midway stop on runs!
I wish it had a drinking fountain somewhere in it though, and maybe small labels saying what each of the plants are.
Love this hidden gem! Great place to sit and just enjoy peace and quiet.
Sweet little park in the middle of downtown. Not ever packed. Beautiful story behind it's origins. I recommend a date picnic ????
Chris Park is part of the Ruby City campus whish also includes Studio gallery and Red City, a contemporary arts center conceived by Sir David Adjaye
