(August 5, 2019, 1:18 am)Fantastic experience from start to finish. They had listed a (barely) used guitar I've been drooling over for a while on a third-party website at a reasonable cost. I called the store beforehand as I'd be coming in from Austin, and Mike held the item for me. There were a billion amps available to test the guitar through, and each department throughout the store looked to have an impressive selection of new and used gear. In the same transaction, I also sold several pieces and got a satisfactory return toward my purchase. It was quite busy in the store on this Saturday but the employees were helpful, professional and efficient as could be. I highly recommend!
(July 14, 2019, 1:58 pm)What sets this place apart is their customer service, they are top notch and they really are professionals. Jacob did a fantastic job when I made a major purchase and should be commended and promoted. Sam Ash is the best in San Antonio by a very large margin. Best selection, best prices and their inventory is in good shape because they do not allow it to be mishandled by a million people like that other place. Don't shop anywhere else or you'll regret it.

(June 14, 2019, 1:02 am)I love this place! I've been shopping here since they opened. Very knowledgeable staff ... most all are in active bands. They treat novices just as well as pros. Tell them your needs and they will quickly steer you to an instrument that fits your needs without trying to oversell you.
