“The first time I visited, the place was empty which worried me. Honestly though, this place is amazing. Great service, very good food and a clean comfortable atmosphere. One thing that bothers me about other Mexican restaurants is their seats are too close together. Here the seating is comfortably spaced. I highly recommend.”

“My Mother-in-law has lived with her son and I for the past 20 years. When she experienced a bad fall 4 weeks ago, we were faced with an unexpected urgency of placing her in long term care. With the help of the Well Med Social Worker, we were given several recommendations, and chose Buena Vida Nursing Home. From my first phone call to start the admissions process with the Director Admissions, Janet Lothringer,, to actually arriving to admit my MIL, we were absolutely blown away with the cleanliness of the facility, and the immediate attentiveness by the staff of Nurses, CNAs, Maintenance Staff, Housekeeping, and Denise, the Assistant Business Manager, Everyone was so anxious to help us get my MIL set up in her room, and attend to her immediate nursing needs. Nurse Brittany was attentive to all the details of my MIL's current medical situation. It was nearing a shift change, so Nurse Brittany made sure to introduce us to Nurse Ella who would be taking over on the evening shift. After 5 days, my MIL has been so thankful for the personal care the staff has had to provide her, the delicious hot meals, and the consistent attentiveness of the entire staff. We had to request a change of rooms today for my MIL, and Nurse Janet absolutely jumped hoops to make it happen in a most efficient and expedient manner. We are new to Buena Vida, so I want to apologize for not mentioning all the staff names, but please know, from the bottom of our hearts, my husband, MIL, and myself sincerely appreciate all the dedicated staff and their consistent efforts to make my MIL's everyday special with their detailed attention to her every need. We realize it takes very special people to provide the care of our aging citizens, and we are so thankful and appreciative for the entire staff at Buena Vida.”

“Friendly caring staff, from the CNA's, dining and nursing these individuals demonstrate the meaning of care. Brandy is a great example of caring. Recently I had to visit early one morning, as she was leaving from her shift she told me she had worked with my loved one and noticed a couple of items they were in need of, I happened to be stopping to take those items. She was very helpful and went back to my loved ones room to make sure they would be ready when it was time for breakfast. Knowing Brandy is the caliber of staff hired at Pecan Valley makes my heart happy. I have recommended Pecan Valley to friends. I will continue to recommend Pecan Valley.”
