“This park isn't as big as some of the other community centers but I'm glad that it's here for the kids because the kids and public use everything that's available to them: indoor/outdoor basketball, walking trail, playground, and an open area to play football. An upgrade of the outdoor basketball and play equipment and some outdoor water fountains would sure be nice for these kids as well as an expanded building for inside activities. The kids and people in this area of San Antonio deserve adequate facilities and not just the "nicer" areas.”

“Clean park, very shady walking paved trails. Will definitely be going back. Looks like they had several pavilions for parties as well.”

“I love going to the park so much. For me I go to relax and enjoy fishing there. I usually go early in the morning and then later on in the evening. I've met so many interesting people. I'm retired and go-to the park almost 7days a week.”

“Really nice well laid out KOA. We arrived thinking we had reservations but my husband had booked an Austin KOA by mistake. The staff were very helpful in getting us into a site. All the staff we've interacted with have been friendly and helpful. The only reason I gave this KOA a 4 is that the pool is much too small for the size of the campground. It was so full by the late in the day that it felt gross to get in.”

“This place is clean, with various size fields to coordinate with the age playing. Some basic items at the concession stand are over priced, but the people working it are nice and helpful. Entry for our tourneys were $7 for each adult and $4 for each non-playing child, per day. This can be costly for families with a lot of children. Many leave siblings at home with a spouse or other family member to reduce the combined cost of entry and concessions. Games are typically on time or a little early. The fields have lights, so an early or late game is well lit. The parking lot is medium in size and is not paved. It tends to get really packed when there is a baseball tourney and a football/soccer tourney happening on the same day, as the football field near the entrance shares the same parking lot. There are cameras on the backstop of each field. I was told there is a website you can login to, to watch a game, but I haven't ever tried.”

“Large enough to let my really big dogs run. Beautiful trees shading the park. Ground was nicely mulched. Solid fence. Benches in the large dog area were a bit high above the ground. Very nice water fountain for dogs on the large side and no fountain for the little dogs.”

“Great place to run or just take a walk at. Clean and safe environment. They do have water fountains but I'd rather bring my own. They also have a kids playground.”
