“I visited this park recently, and I’d say it’s a great spot for relaxing and especially for RV stays. If you have an RV, this is perfect — they have camping spots that face the water. However, if you’re into hiking, it doesn’t offer much. Walking along the shore and around the fishing areas was very pleasant, though. The park is well kept and clean. This is a state park, so there’s an entry fee, but it’s free if you have the State Park Pass. I recommend it mainly for fishing.”

“Never been to the park until now. My favorite part so far is the duck pond. Next trip, I will bring duck food. Did not know it was here. I do know tho.”

“We car camped here for $10 per person, and it’s worth it because you have the communal area (the barn) where you get to meet cool people and cook on a stove and just have a good rest from the sun/wind. We didn’t stay in the rooms, but I’d say they’re a little overpriced, but that building has an even nicer communal area. Location next to Hueco Tanks (5 minutes) is perfect. Had an AMAZING time.. the staff are the best.”

“What a great experience to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary!!!! They have truly thought of everything you could want for glamping & then some. Welcome snacks, coffee, tea, heaters (it was actually chilly when we visited), heated towel rack!!! Especially liked that a few days before our visit a member of the team reached out to let us know they would help us with whatever we needed before & during our visit. Happy to report that we had absolutely no complaints or issues. Just some beautiful views for coffee time & sunset. Highly recommend!!!”

“This place is a cemetery. No swings, no play grounds, not a good place for anyone living. Great for the dead, bad for the living. If you wonder why I made this post, ask Google. They are the guilty party . They are why I needed to post this.”

“Pot O Gold Ranch remains close to my heart as it was my childhood summer camp. It was a place where I found freedom to connect with others and the freedom to grow. Christ being the center of it all. Thank you for the beautiful memories.”

“Actually, I did not come for enjoyment. I came because there was a boating accident, and my daughter and grandkids were there on the pier when a boat came speeding up to it. A man jumped off the boat and took off run and apparently they were involved in smashing into a canoe, but it seemed that it was traumatizing to my grandkids and my daughter because of the recklessness and how close the speeding reckless boat came to smashing into the pier with them, unable to get to safety”

“It is a small but uncrowded park with lots of room to throw a ball and games like cornhole up front to keep you entertained when not at the lake. If you have a 30 amp camper there are sites with water views and fire pits, if you want to tent camp there are some phenomenal spots right by the water. If you have a 50 amp camper you are limited to just a parking lot type area with limited views of the lake but there is sewage. The bathrooms are “rustic” but the management is super friendly and helpful - call to make the reservation and they charge when you get there but truly hold your spots they committed to. The beach area is huge and solid enough to drive on when the lake is low and it makes this place unique. The sunset and the access to the lake are what get this a 4 star for me.”

“I found this beautiful gem a year ago and am hooked! Everything about this place is magical. The caretakers are awesome! The animals are friendly. The little farm shop is quaint and full of natural, homemade, local products. Their meat and eggs are delicious and it matters to me knowing where the food comes from and how it's raised. The land is beautiful and full of wonderful surprises. Whether you simply want to take a day hike or stay overnight in one of the cabins or with your camping gear, this is a "must visit place" for all nature lovers and outdoorsmen.”

“Newly renovated, Jake’s Hilltop playground is nicely improved! The new equipment is fun and still challenging for the kids. The shaded swing set is nice, but only two regular swings. Our kids also enjoyed the light up challenge game. It was a missed opportunity for the town to add some shaded benches, though, and no word so far on the promised future splashpad. Still a great improvement to the playground.”

“What a sweet little triangle city park established in 1975. Great sampling of native plants- and a Little Library too( the kind where you leave a book and take a book). There are benches and a trash can. The park was clean and it was a delightful find whilst walking in the great OC!”

“I don't like that they shut down all access to 90% of the picnic & camping spaces on October 1st?? Right when the weather gets nice. Literally 3 picnic table areas are accessible after that date. I guess until April.”

“This is my neighborhood park. It has a nice playground which caters mostly to smaller children. There's a skate park with several ramps and obstacles for doing tricks. The paved walking path circles the park which makes it great for getting your daily walk in. There's some parking but it's primarily made for residents within walking distance. They also have a field for soccer with goals as well as a baseball field and tennis court. If anything I would add a basketball court and possibly more trees and seating.”

“It's a great RV park. They have a beautiful pool and a storm shelter. The park is well maintained and constantly being improved upon. One day, I did notice a bunch of screws laying in the road near one of the dumpsters. When I mentioned it to the maintenance man, he was very polite and rectified the issue immediately. A wonderful place to stay.”
