“The owners of this place are incredible. Seeing the whole cemetery lit up at night, it’s beautiful. It feels so welcoming. It doesn’t feel like I’m visiting my sister at just some dark, lifeless, miserable section of dirt. I really can’t thank them enough for allowing the decorations and personality to be added to every individual grave site. I honestly can’t put into words how much it means to me and my family.”

“Beautiful historic Fannin county cemetery. Many of my husbands family members are interred here. It is well maintained and cared for. The cemetery association holds a memorial service and business meeting once a year on the first Sunday in June. New members/families are always welcome. One key factor in deciding on a final resting place should include if there is an association or an endowed trust that is maintained for continued care and upkeep. Most people do not think about this aspect when choosing a lot, but it should be included in the final decision. This is one of the best of historic cemeteries in the north Texas area and will remain that way because of the founding members innovative thoughts about its future.”

“I have been checking on a family member's grave for over a year. There are flowers (artificial) on every grave. The policy regarding what and how long items were left is clear. Flowers will be replaced as needed. Items left cannot interfere with the mowers. My family member has been buried here for 55 years and we have had no problems with the staff or crews. We recently had to replace the vase attached to the marker. My only concern was that the road is nearby and it was apparent that heavy equipment had been driven over the area of the graves.”
