“Beautiful. I wish I had known about the memorial sooner. It seems like the city did a wonderful job on it but I haven't ever heard of it.”

“Just love this dog park. I am only using the small dog area which is really large, shaded and with great maintenance. Only issues (and I am not sure there is a good solution) are the amount of skeeters. Great parking and super friendly patrons”

“Small but cute park (no trees, but has a covered seating area) located at the other end of the Waxahachie concrete trail that starts at Getzendaner Park.”

“I read several negative reviews on this park before visiting and after staying for the night I really don't understand why. I would give it a true 3.5 rating. It is not as nice as a state park, yet not as bad as some of the KOA parks we have stayed. The park is nice for local boaters and has a swimming area. The restrooms were clean and had hot water. (The shower pressure could be a little stronger, but definitely met our needs). The park was pretty quiet after 10 p.m. and we slept well. We saw local police patroling throughout the park several times, which is a plus for safety. Our site was: level, had a covered picnic table, a grill, a fire pit, electrical hook up, and water spicket. We would definitely stay again if we were passing through.”

“Adorable little park, the only one I know of in the area with a merry go round. Middle swing squeaks something awful though.”

“My family has enjoyed many years of sporting activities at this venue. It has served us well for softball, baseball, soccer and even cross country meets. We've also enjoyed the community of Waxahachie's Annual Crape Myrtle Festival 4th of July fireworks show here. The city really does a great job, both with the firework show and ensuring public safety in the complex during the show.”

“Newly designed updated playground with balance beams, mini swings and soft ground below. Kids love it. No nearby restrooms. There is space close by for dogs. But this playground is for children!!! There is 1 picnic table with shade.”

“We just had our wedding on May 8th at the Secret Garden and everything went great! Roland is very easy to work with and was prompt to assist us with anything we needed on our wedding day. I received several compliments from our guests on how beautiful everything was!”

“This park is really nice considering the majority of the maintenance is done by volunteers from a non-profit”

“A fun course in progress. The city is working on improvements and trying to clean it up. Plenty of challenging shots and a pretty quick play. Some pretty holes come bluebonnet season”

“Quaint, clean, and modernized! The facility is the perfect size for small parties and it has a nicely appointment kitchen area to accommodate your needs. The bathrooms are clean and the covered porch is really lovely, with fans and recessed lighting.”

“Great place for kids to rollerblade or skate and ride a bike. The sidewalk is wide and goes around the playground. Fishing pond is also nice, caught a small bass. This is also part of the trout stocking program with Texas parks and wildlife.”

“Scotty will take care of you. They were able to find a cold hardy citrus tree variety that I was looking for. They picked it up from one of their suppliers so I could get it from their location a short drive away from me in Midlothian, TX. Great people to work with.”

“We love going to this park, it has 4 different little park places (one specifically for small children) within it. Plus it has a hiking trail, bike trail, and walking trail that is 7 and a half miles long. It's a beautiful trail and very peaceful, I walk it all the time.”

“The playground was clean and in great shape. I do want to note that this is a neighborhood park...so ya need to run home to use the restroom 🤔. The water under the bridge this July day is barely a foot deep , but it is shady so that is the coolest picnic table spot right now.”
Address: 124 N 1st St, Midlothian, TX 76065, USA
“There is lots of space to run around and play. There are two playgrounds. One is for kids who are 2-5 and the other one is for 5-12. But both playgrounds have fun things for kids of different ages and abilities. The play equipment is not wheelchair accessible but there is a swing for an older child who might have mobility challenges. The park is wheelchair accessible with a wide sidewalk around the perimeter of the park. There are also grills, tables, and covered gazebos.”

“Adorable little park! My kids had fun playing in the splash pad, and running around the playground. I also like that it’s fenced in along the road, and has a shaded area with picnic tables. The only downside is that there’s no restrooms, but they do have porta-potties across the bridge.”

“Very nice quiet little place with a 1/2 mile trail. There are benches if you need to stop and rest. It is not a paved trail. Although the park is in the city it gives you the feeling of being out in a rural area or a wilderness trail. I do not recommend this trail because I like the solitude it offers and I do not want people packing the place while I am there walking🤔.”

“Visited on April 24, 2022… The area was beautiful and clean. It wasn’t crowded. There was plenty of space. There are picnic tables and portable restrooms. It was my first time visiting and I would definitely come back!”

“I give this place a 5 star. Only thing no infant swings and my baby loves the swings. But very clean park and in between a beautiful neighborhood and very clean reastrooms. Had a gr8 time. We will be back. Also very beautiful art painted on the trash cans. THUMBS up for the artist.”
Address: Farley St, Waxahachie, TX 75165, USA
“Very nice open land/ Environment; Trash cans every few hundred meters, and a clean park! Very fun for the Kids & Disk Golf :D (make sure to use the restroom before you go through, only a Porter Potty for now)”

“Great lil park with a nice walk trail by the water.”

“This park is very nice. Lots of wild flowers, of course including Bluebonnets. A few playgrounds and walking paths to enjoy nature. There is a pond where we did see a few people fishing. The baseball parks are nice very open. The dugouts are nice and spacious. There is a concession stand and restroom were alright but could be better. It's a beautiful place to visit and plenty of areas to barbecue and picnic.”
