“I take great pride in saying that I am a graduate of Holy Cross High School ! I was a member of the 3rd graduation class - the Class of 1963 ! I could not have asked, nor received, a better education. It did an excellet job of preparing me for college. It was at Holy Cross that I was inspired to become a teacher, a career that lasted 39 years & continues on as a volunteer. Being an educator for almost 5 decades, I am most proud to have had a number of my former public school students graduate from Holy Cross. Holy Cross has produced physicians, lawyers, teachers, professors, judges, a priest and other graduates that have made an indelible, positive impact on the fabric of the City of San Antonio. Being a Holy Cross Knight doesn't end on graduation night ! Being a Knight is forever. It is in your DNA for ever !”

“Mr. Goff is an exemplary example of what every Principal should encompass. He greets every student with referring to them as scholars. The title, unknownly to a child, fills them with a feeling of importance and accountability. He strives for excellence and expects the same from his teachers/auxiliary staff. There are a few teachers/ Aux. staff who have yet to comprehend that thier lack of empathy when speaking to a child/adult is misleading. I hope that they will learn to THINK before they speak. Nevertheless, I know all is well when my child is in school. At the end of the day, it feels good to know that thier Principal is a man of integrity and his empathy for children is beyond appreciated.”

“I went to Loma Park for 2nd grade. It was awesome!! My teacher (i don't know if he still teaches there) Mr.Perez was an awesome teacher!! He had taught us 5 grade science so we were ahead 3 grades. This was 4 years ago. I'm in 6th now and in a different city. Yet I will always remember Loma Park because I loved it there. I hope anyone in my class from then will remember me. My best memory was when in music we had headphones connected to the keyboards and I so cunningly turned up the volume all the way and had my friend put on the headphones. Then I played dun dun dun duh and my friend started laughing. Ah memories”
