Stopped by for one of Caldwell BBQ pop up days a few months ago and was not disappointed.

One sentence summary: Homestyle food made with love.

We went with the full sampler to try all the different meats. The chicken was very moist and well seasoned. I was a big fan of the rub used on the brisket as well. To my surprise, my favorite meat was the ribs. Ribs are not my typical go to, but these were to die for and I am counting down the days until I can order them again. Perfectly cooked, tender, and such good flavor. The sides were yummy with generous portions. The vinegar based coleslaw and the jalapeño cheese rice were my favorite. They topped it all off with a fresh Rice Krispie treat the size of a brick. How can you go wrong with that?! Sitting amongst everyone at the picnic tables just had the ambiance of a classic Texas bbq picnic. It was great!
