They have a bird watching dock, aquariums inside and the kids can even touch sea anemones and star fish from their open tank. A great field trip for homeschoolers or if you just want to escape the hustle and bustle of Houston!

(January 19, 2020, 8:44 pm)Quaint! Amazingly peaceful! Full of information that felt really good to get reacquainted with. We truly enjoyed ourselves. Our intentions are return when the seasons change (Spring). Note: donations to their cause is helpful!

(October 26, 2019, 6:11 pm)Truly fun and informative place to spend an afternoon. If it swims in the Gulf, they probably have it here. Take the hatchery tour. Now toucan see where fish dinners come from. The wetlands walkway has both fresh and salt water areas with a very broad spectrum of plants, birds, and other critters. But it’s NOT just a tourist place. Lots of education and research goes on as well.
