The High Point Park & Wildflower Preserve

I love this place, not only is it beautiful and peaceful, it has all your camping needs. Just bring a tent and food and cook ware. There is a place took on and some chairs and he usually has wood available for you. Nice trails and beautiful scenery. You have to try it.

Such an amazing place to get away! Close to all you may need and not far from town. Awesome management and very accommodating. Love this place!! Must visit!

What a cool place! Camp, fish or just set in the shade by the pond. With miles of views, the sunsets are incredible.

I have never been able find find a place like this in Texas such as The High Point Park. I truly have enjoyed this place and all its preservation it has to offer. Much land like this Black Land Prairie doesnt exist anymore and it's been an experience of a lifetime. I value and will always cherish the time I've had here. Its one of the best places I've had the pleasure to camp at, as well as the most beautiful places I've had the honor to set foot on. The wildflowers cover the hills and the view is surreal. The company is more than welcoming and has done all it can to accommodate my needs. By far the best place to get away in the DFW area

As the author of Prairie Time, published by Texas A&M Press, this is one of the best prairie remnants left in Collin County. The grasses and wildflowers (and the views) preserve for future generations the nature of our county and will be essential for people to understand the natural history of the area.
