This location is right across the street from the Star, very convenient! Lots of free parking in a multi story lot. Food was fine, honestly not outstanding but good. We had a pizza that had meatballs on it and they were very bland. Service was very good and the food came quickly and was piping hot.
My husband and I went for a Friday night date to try this place for the first time together. It was around 7 pm. They were busy but not completely full so we were seated right away. We got the Billy Ray Valentine, cute, I love Trading Places with Eddie Murphy. It had Bacon, bacon marmalade, vodka sauce, sweety drop peppers, and house made mozzarella. That sounded good but for $3 we added ground. sausage. The pizza was $19. It is 14 inches and kinda shaped like a heart. This looked a little pricey but this is not your normal pizza shop. This is an experience. We had never heard of sweety peppers before so we said let's try it. Kind of had the texture of a habinero pepper WITHOUT the heat. It was an experience for our mouth. My husband kept saying, mmm, mmm. I think he really enjoyed it and so did I. We also tried a small 10 inch dessert pizza, the Ladybird and the Edgar. The waitress said we could do half on one side and half on the other so we picked the two we were most interested in. The waitress said her favorite was the Ladybird but ours was the Edgar, I love roasted marshmallows. That was only $10 for a 10 inch. They had a larger one for $13 but the 10 inch was fine for us. The decorations in the restaurant were so cool. The pizza oven was a football helmet. The restaurant was across the street from the Dallas Cowboys practice Stadium in Frisco. It is great place for meeting friends or a date night. Today starts the Summer special dessert pizza Bella Mela, it has vanilla mascarpone, peaches, caramel and powdered sugar. I need to go back and try this because I love fruit dessert pizzas. Check it out! You will not be disappointed.
Amazing pizzas! The quality and taste is sooo great! Also the service is really good - Ally was our server and Payton was accommodating for our reservation modification. It was an amazing dine in experience overall.
I think this is our third time eating here. We always enjoy the food and atmosphere, so we keep returning when we are visiting Frisco. It was busy but we were seated right away and the food came without much of a wait at all. Our family has tried several pizzas and the teens always get the Margherita pizza. We tried a pasta and a new pizza on this visit as well. Everything was delicious.
Our first visit to the Carrollton Cane Rosso location wasn't a good one but Frisco definitely compensated for our first disappointment. We had a great first time visit here and we definitely will be back again.
The staff was very friendly. Our bartender even came over to check to see if we were happy with our drink, and offered to make it over. We sat at the counter tops where we could watch the pizza being prepared and it was so much fun. We interacted with the staff and even had some laughs with them.
