“For a Saturday night, this place was surprisingly quiet. It felt like a hidden gem in the heart of Frisco—beautifully decorated, welcoming, and intimate. Our server was kind and attentive, and he made several solid recommendations, including from the dessert menu after dinner. To start, we had the bacon and eggs (deviled eggs) and the lobster jar. Both were delectable! I don’t think any restaurants serve deviled eggs with the balance of sweet and savory that I prefer and make, but the million dollar bacon helps to make up for the lack of sweet in the egg filling. The lobster was perfectly cooked—velvety and buttery, with a hint spice—and it was paired with the perfect bread. For dinner, we had the carbonara pasta and the salmon, both of which were pretty good. My only issue with the salmon was that the menu description mentioned it was cooked in a butter sauce and served over risotto—I subbed the avocado risotto for veggie risotto per our server’s suggestion—but the salmon was so HEAVILY drizzled with some kind of balsamic sauce, that it overpowered an otherwise solid dish. Next time I would order the same thing and ask that they hold the sauce. If they are committed to keeping this sauce, they should avoid the zebra-like design and do a very LIGHT drizzle, and it would be great! Finally, we got a slice of red velvet and a slice of caramel coconut pecan cake to go. I’m not big on sweets but both cakes had the most amazing flavors—superb, really! Overall, it was a nice and unexpected experience, and I appreciate their willingness to accommodate most any substitution. We will definitely come back, though I do agree with some others that the pricing does not match the experience.”

“I can’t believe I have not been here sooner. There was a wait when we arrived on the weekend, but it was worth it. Service-wise, everyone we encountered was pleasant and friendly. The restaurant felt a bit small, and it was packed. It was running very smoothly. We did not have to wait too long to order or for the food to arrive. We enjoyed absolutely everything we ordered. “We showed up at 5 when they opened for dinner and were quickly seated with a party of 12. It was a little cold, but as the restaurant filled up it made sense why they started out cold since it was comfortable after awhile. You must get the little sacks of Golden Treasure appetizer. They are amazing. Ideal for a party of 4, little shaped wonton satchels of curried filling with a delicious sauce! I ordered a Mai Tai, which I will simply note was an average Mai Tai. Nothing wrong or exceptional. Another person at the table ordered a Mango Colada, which I think I would get instead on a subsequent visit. And then I ordered the Volcano Chicken and was asked "Out of 1-7 how spicy do you want it?" and instinctually thought "Ahh, they've had too many foolish customers come in and say 10 and then it's too spicy and they have to remake it, so they've capped it at a reasonable level." So I proclaimed 7, and sure enough when I got it it was about as spicy as I generally make my pasta at home, which is pretty spicy, like about a medium salsa. So I would say if you LIKE heat, go with 6 or 7 and every other option is for people who like things mild. If I went again I might ask if they could do a 7+ or ask if the heat levels depend on the chef, because I have heard of restaurants where one chef's 7 is the other chef's 3. BUT aside from the heat aspect, the Volcano Chicken was very delicious. Would definitely get it again. Everyone in my party enjoyed their meal. And our server (Rose I think?) She was very nice and attentive.”
